Composer / Music Editor / Classical Guitarist
Often inspired by the nature of his homeland Finland, the music of Elias Mäntylä regularly steps into a more dark and sonically dense space. That's where he feels the most at home. That is to say, walking around in Finland isn't all gloomy and depressing all the time. Now based in Los Angeles, Elias is focused on a career in music editing, while still composing original music for various projects on the side.
Elias completed his B.M in Film Scoring & Classical Guitar Performance at Berklee College of Music.
A period short film by director Jacob Rannik was nominated for multiple awards by Indie Short Fest in October of 2024, including "Best Original Score", which was composed by Elias Mäntylä.
